TMNT Holds at #2 at Weekend Box Office

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles held the #2 spot at the box office over the Labor Day holiday weekend, Friday-Sunday, with $11.9M. Once again, all of the new releases failed to reach #1, while Marvel's Guardian's of the Galaxy stayed on top.

TMNT's domestic box office total sits at $162.6M, while the worldwide total is up to $278.5M.

The top five movies this past weekend were:

1. Guardians of the Galaxy ($17M)
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ($11.9M)
3. If I Stay ($9.3M)
4. As Above/So Below ($8.6M)
5. Let's Be Cops ($8.3M)
