Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles held the #2 spot at the box office over the Labor Day holiday weekend, Friday-Sunday, with $11.9M. Once again, all of the new releases failed to reach #1, while Marvel's Guardian's of the Galaxy stayed on top.
TMNT's domestic box office total sits at $162.6M, while the worldwide total is up to $278.5M.
The top five movies this past weekend were:
- Guardians of the Galaxy ($17M)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ($11.9M)
- If I Stay ($9.3M)
- As Above/So Below ($8.6M)
- Let's Be Cops ($8.3M)
