Man... I wouldn't have skipped the BSG Orchestra event in Comic-Con for anything, but I'm still kinda sad I missed this. Can't wait for the release (hate Leo's voice, though).
You get more used to the voices throughout the whole show. They obviously cast Leo based on the deeper voice Cam Clarke used at the beginning of the series. (Actually, you can tell they based everything from the 80s toon in this movie off the first season, possibly two, of the series.)
Yes, it was. There is an e-mail address in plain view on every single page of this site that you are free to use if you would like to bring something to my attention.
Nefty--that's an alias Clarke used for non-union projects like Robotech and the first Metal Gear Solid game. So you can't replace one with the other.
As for the voices in total, it doesn't really bother me that much. Barry Gordon is essentially retired to focus on his radio show IIRC, and without him what's the point? :) Seriously looking forward to this...too bad I don't have CW access.

ReplyDeleteWHYYYY DIDN'T THEY GET THE ORIGINAL VOICES? What a wasted opportunity!
ReplyDeleteSomehow Dan Green's ability to make any character awesome makes me forget that this isn't Cam Clarke voicing the role that made him famous.
ReplyDeleteStill, you think they could have at leats paid a little extra to keep the old theme song
Wow its great to see this clip and get even more excited about the full feature. Thanks a million for posting this!
ReplyDelete-->> ..dunno if anyone really thought much of this :: not just an issue of "DIMENSION HOPPING" ..
ReplyDeletethe TMNT teams are also doing a bit of Time Travel.
As the 1988 TMNT world seems to be PRE- Dregg.
Mirage Studios has no say in casting for the movie. Please do not spam my site. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHey that wasn't spam!

ReplyDeleteSuch a shame that Jimmy Flanders, or James Flinders couldn't replace Cam Clarke... Not Liking Leo's voice, but I can't wait to see this movie!
